Ticket Allocation Process
Step One. Ticket allocation for nominees:
- Two tickets for a named individual who is nominated for
- Best actor
- Best supporting actor
- Two tickets for a team representative from the nominated show.
- Technical design and presentation
- Costumes and make up
- Music and singing
- Best theatrical moment
- Choreography and movement
- Best direction/director
- Best Play
- Best Pantomime
- Best Musical
For individual awards (best actor/supporting actor): We will email the relevant theatre group with a request to forward the email to the nominee or inform them in any other preferred way so that they can book their tickets.
If an individual nominee is not able to attend they may nominate a representative to collect their award should they win: please let us know the representative’s name if this is the case.
For ‘team’ awards (including best play/musical/pantomime, technical awards etc): Each theatre group will be able to decide who is best to take up the offer of tickets according to the category of the nomination.
Once you know who is coming, please book the tickets. This can be as a group booking, or those attending can book themselves.
We need Step One tickets to be booked by 1st March 2025 at 4pm.
We are asking for booking and payment in this way to prevent ticket wastage and allow as many as possible to come along.
Tickets will be booked via a password-protected link to TicketSource, Tickets may be paid for by all main debit and credit cards. The group contact and the nominees will receive the link and the password by email.
This password should not be shared with anyone else, and no extra tickets should be booked. If we find additional tickets have been added, they will be cancelled and refunded. The only exception will be if an individual has been nominated for more than one award – they may then book the relevant number of pairs of tickets at the same time.
We emphasize, all tickets allocated at step one must be booked and paid for on Ticket Source by 4pm on 1st March. If the relevant tickets have not been booked by this date, they will no longer be held for the nominee.
Step Two: All remaining tickets
From 4pm on 2nd March, any remaining tickets can be booked on a first come first served basis. We will announce this on social media and by email to all theatre groups.
These steps may seem complex, but hopefully this will enable the full allocation of tickets to the right people.
If you have any problems booking, please check our Frequently Asked Questions, email us at: contact@IWtheatre.org or call Maureen on 07747 738 338.
