The Apollo Youth Theatre is set to delight audiences young and old with their brand new pantomime Cowterspace. Based on the much loved nursery rhyme Hey Diddle Diddle the residents of Diddlesbury town come together to help the Spoon family launch their pet Cow Marjorie into space to win a ridiculous bet with the dastardly Desmond Dish. Up on the moon, Aitken Drum and his lovely wife are worried that Marjorie is about to land on their house, and as a cow in space contravenes Luna laws the Intergalactic Moon Preservation Committee finds their way to Diddlesbury to try and stop Marjorie from embarking on her space flight.
The Apollo Youth Theatre have gained quite a reputation of thrilling audiences with new work and like Rudy’s Christmas Cracker and Peter Pan Forever, Cowterspace has been written by Karl Whitmore. His wit and clever writing will be brought to life by the talented youngsters at Apollo who have deservedly received much acclaim for their work.
Filled with song and dance, terrible jokes, a romance or two, and all the pantomime traditions, this is set to entertain everyone. There are performances both in the afternoons and evenings making it the perfect treat to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
This is sure to be a sellout run so grab your tickets whilst you can. Tickets are just £5 for children and £10 for adults and available from
