This production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang marks a special passing of the baton to the next generation. When Chitty last visited Shanklin Theatre in The Island Savoyards’ 2019 production, the roles of Jeremy and Jemima Potts were played by George Sales and Ellen Careless. In this Curtain Call Creative production, those beloved roles are now brought to life by Lennon Sales and Polly Careless the younger siblings of Ellen and George. They share the roles with MaisieWalker-Green and Charlie Dickson. The 2026 version also reunites Luke Cumberpatch and Emily Scotcher as Caractacus Potts and Truly Scrumptious.
